Privacy Policy, Terms of Use & Payment

1.1 What we may collect

• name;
• email;
• phone, if you provide it voluntarily;
• age range;
• gender;
• answers about wellbeing, energy, sleep, stress, recovery, skin, body and lifestyle;
• your priorities and budget bracket, if the form asks for them;
• technical data: language, IP address, device type, browser, date and time of the check-up;
• payment data: payment status, amount, currency, promo code used, payment date.

We do not request medical records, diagnoses, lab results or prescriptions. Anything you voluntarily share about your wellbeing is used only to create your personal PDF guide.

1.2 How we use the data

• to generate a personal PDF guide based on your answers;
• to deliver the result to the email you provided;
• to process payment and confirm access;
• to apply a promo code, if one was entered;
• to improve the site and quality of the service;
• to respond to your requests;
• to meet legal and accounting obligations.

1.3 Legal grounds (GDPR Art. 6)

• Service performance (Art. 6.1.b): to create and deliver your personal PDF guide and invoice.
• Consent (Art. 6.1.a & Art. 9.2.a): for wellbeing and lifestyle answers you voluntarily provide.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): protecting the service, preventing fraud, improving the site.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c): bookkeeping and payment confirmation under Estonian law.

1.4 Payments via Stripe

Payments on the site are processed by Stripe. Vital Compass does not see or store full bank card details.

Stripe may process the payment data necessary for the transaction: payer name, email, last digits of the card, country, payment status, amount, currency and technical transaction data. Detailed processing of payment data is governed by Stripe's rules and policies. For questions about payment via our site, write to getvitalcompass@gmail.com.

1.5 Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, meet accounting requirements and protect legitimate interests. Wellbeing answers are deleted within 12 months of submission. Invoices are retained for 7 years (Estonian Accounting Act).

To request deletion, correction or a copy of your data, write to getvitalcompass@gmail.com.

1.6 Your rights

• access to your data;
• correction of inaccurate data;
• deletion, where there is no lawful basis to keep it;
• restriction of processing;
• a copy of your data (portability);
• withdrawal of consent;
• an answer to how your data is used.

Use getvitalcompass@gmail.com for any such request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

1.7 Sharing & sub-processors

• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (payment processing, Ireland)
• Google Workspace (email delivery, EU data residency)
• Cloudflare (hosting / edge runtime, EU/global)
• Supabase (database, EU region)

We do not sell your data. We do not run ad-tracking pixels. Where a sub-processor transfers data outside the EU, it is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under GDPR Chapter V.

1.8 Cookies (ePrivacy & EU Directive 2009/136/EC)

We use only strictly-necessary cookies and local storage entries — no advertising, no third-party tracking, no analytics cookies. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly-necessary cookies do not require prior consent; for everything else we ask first via the cookie banner.

You can withdraw or change your choice anytime by clearing your browser storage for this site — the banner will reappear.

2.1 Important limitation

Vital Compass is not a medical service.

The service does not diagnose, treat or replace a doctor, lab tests, examinations or specialist consultation. All materials are informational and educational, focused on lifestyle, self-observation and general wellbeing.

If you have strong symptoms, pain, a sharp drop in wellbeing, a chronic condition, pregnancy, are taking medication, or have other medical questions — please consult a doctor or qualified specialist.

2.2 How the PDF guide is created

The PDF guide is built from your answers. The more accurate and honest your answers, the more useful the final read-out.

We do not guarantee a specific outcome, change in wellbeing, weight loss, better sleep, appearance or physical form. The guide helps you see possible focus zones and take a more conscious first step.

2.3 Personal basket

In some cases, after receiving the PDF guide, you may be offered a personal basket — a curated selection of products matched to your result, budget and interests.

This is an optional extra. You are not required to use it. Product suggestions are not a medical prescription.

3.1 Price and payment format

Vital Compass is a paid digital product. The price is shown on the payment page before purchase. Payment is one-time — no subscriptions, no recurring charges, no hidden fees.

If the site shows €19.99, this means a single payment for taking the check-up and receiving the personal PDF guide.

3.2 Promo codes

Promo codes may be used on the site. A promo code can reduce the purchase price, including down to €0, if it is valid and active.

The promo code must be applied before payment. After payment is completed, a promo code cannot be applied retroactively.

Promo codes may have restrictions on validity period, number of uses, audience or conditions. Vital Compass may modify, disable or end a promo code if needed for the service to work correctly.

3.3 PDF delivery

After completing the check-up and successful payment, the PDF guide is sent to the email you provided. Delivery usually happens automatically. Sometimes the email lands in "Spam", "Promotions" or "Updates" folders.

If you paid but did not receive the PDF guide, write to getvitalcompass@gmail.com and include the email you used at purchase.

3.4 Refunds

Vital Compass is a personal digital product generated from your answers. Once the PDF guide has been created and delivered, refunds are generally not issued, because the personal digital product has already been provided.

A refund may be considered in the following cases:

• a duplicate payment occurred;
• payment went through but the PDF guide was not delivered due to a technical error;
• the user did not receive access to the product and contacted support;
• a clear technical failure on the service side.

To request a review, write to getvitalcompass@gmail.com within 14 days of payment. Include the email used, payment date and a short description.

We will review the request and offer one of the following: resend the PDF guide, run a technical check, fix the error, or issue a refund if justified.

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16.m), the right of withdrawal does not apply once the digital PDF guide has been delivered. By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and waive your 14-day withdrawal right for the digital content.

3.5 Disputes and support

If you have a question about payment, the PDF guide, a promo code, a refund or your data, please write to us first: getvitalcompass@gmail.com. We try to resolve issues directly and without unnecessary bureaucracy.

3.6 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Harju County Court, Tallinn.
